1. Changed some basic systems.

(i) changed Promotion System.
- Character Promotion is now cash-free. Current Promotion system's Upgrade system is changed.
- Character Promotion requires Shiny Crystals. There will be no change to Attack Ratings/Defense Ratings and stats upon promotion. The number of Shiny Crystals required for each promotion level is as follows:-

- Attack Ratings/Defense Ratings are increased and stats are awarded upon Character Upgrade.
- current Promotion Scrolls are changed to Promotion Recipes required for Character Upgrade.

(ii) changed Settler's Equipment and added Shiny Crystals.
- Abrasives Exchange Volunteer and Settler's Equipment Volunteer NPCs are deleted.
- Shiny Crystal's and Settler's Equipments can be purchased from various Equipment Merchants NPCs in Reboldoeux, Coimbra, and Auch.
- Shiny Crystals can be obtained from quests and hunting of all monsters under level 100.
- Shiny Crystals can be socketed.
- Shiny Crystal's items can be purchased from Precious Metal Merchant NPCs in all major towns.
- existing Lowest/Low/General/High/Highest Grade Abrasives quest rewards have been changed to Shiny Crystals. The amount of Shiny Crystals awarded varies according to quest.
- changed the probability of item options being granted for Practice- ~ Combat- Use Settler's items.

(iii) Quests.
- recommended levels are marked in the Quest Information Window (Alt+A). The quest title colour will change based on the recommended levels according to the highest level character currently in play in MCC.
- added Level Sorting feature to the Quest Information Window. The list of quests can be sorted from low level to high level quests.
- added Quest Location feature. The location of the quest-related NPC or monster will be shown upon double-clicking on the quest title. Locations of some quests cannot be shown.
- regions with on-going quests are marked on the World Map (Alt+W).
- increased visibility of icons displayed over the heads of quest NPCs.

(iv) Stances.
- the five basic characters will start with the following stances learned upon creation:-

- adjusted experience requirements for stances that can be acquired before Veteran.
- added information on level and stance requirements for each stance to the Character Stance Window (Alt+S).

(v) Barrack Mode.
- various buttons in the Barracks have been simplified to increase visibility.
- changed New/Previous Start Location function. Starting from New will move team to saved starting location; starting from Previous will move team, regardless of team setup, to last exit spot.
- the five basic characters will be wearing default Settler's Equipment upon initial character creation.

(vi) Monsters.
- increased stats and experience as well as respawn rate of monsters under level 100.
- monsters under level 100 will have chance to drop items with in-built Enhancement Levels and Sockets.
- changed Targetted Monster Window UI. The monster's name, level, race, and armour type will be displayed.

(vii) Squad.
- added Squad Member HP display option to the Squad Information Window (Alt+D). If the option is used, information on squad members' team setup and HP levels will be shown on the top left of the screen.
- skills can be used by clicking on a squad member's character on the top left of the screen.
- squad members in different areas will not be shown.

(viii) changed NPC locations.
- NPCs with Shop functions have been relocated to more centralized locations in every town.
- deleted Movement Soldier NPC from all towns.
- deleted Master Room; the NPCs in the Master Rooms have been moved to every town.
- the Bounty Hunter's Guild Merchant NPCs have been moved to every town.

(ix) Waypoint.
- Waypoints can now be used without Vis consumption.

(x) Shortcuts.
- added Block List tab to the Friend's List window (Alt+B). Deleted original Alt+F3 Block List shortcut.
- deleted Pose shortcuts. Pose shortcuts can be setup from Game Launcher - Options - Hotkey Tools if desired.

 

2. Compensated items in accordance to system changes.

(i) compensated some quantity of Shiny Crystals based on number of Promotion Scrolls in possession. (Event Promotion Scrolls will not be compensated.)
- Veteran Promotion Scroll: 25 Shiny Crystals.
- Expert Promotion Scroll: 50 Shiny Crystals.
- Master Promotion Scroll: 100 Shiny Crystals.
- families with Promotion Scrolls registed in the market will also be compensated.

(ii) Promotion Recipes will be awarded upon completion of some quests.
- completed Lyndon's Shadow Dilos Latemn quest: Promotion Recipe - Veteran x3
- completed Nunez's Recommendation Letter quest: Promotion Recipe - Expert x3
- completed Auch Pioneer Officer's Report on Jaquin Prison quest: Promotion Recipe - Master x3.

 

3. Changed and removed some content.

(i) Tutorial related.
- quests can be started without MCC3 upon family creation.
- when creating characters in barracks for the first time, the Scout character must be included.
- added Granado Espada Prologue to the tutorial.
- deleted Office of Pioneering Support. Previous/New Team start location inside the Office of Pioneering Support has been moved to Reboldoeux.
- deleted New Pioneers Support NPC; the buff that increases most stats and experience will be applied automatically upon character level up.
- added Gift Box for level up. It will be added to inventory automatically when family level reaches 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9.

(ii) Veteran Stance acquisition.
- existing stance books that can be purchased from the Bahamar Base Camp's Scholar NPC and Master Room's Scout Master NPC with 25 Mystery Powders are now purchaseable with 50 Shiny Crystals instead.
- existing stance books that requires the 3 types of Ancient Books and Mega Ores remain unchanged.

(iii) deleted content.
- deleted Request Office NPCs. Associated quest entries are deleted as well.
- deleted Ferrucio's Boxes. Associated NPC, quest entries, and quest items are deleted as well.

(iv) other changes.
- direct movement to Reboldoeux Stone Pit possible from Reboldoeux's north gate.

 

4. Changed screen layout.
- removed Menu and Toolbar from the top left of the screen, and integrated both into one Main Menu on the center top of the screen.
- added Feso Shop to the main menu. The Feso Shop can be accessed anywhere from the main menu's [Cash Shop] - [Open Feso Shop] option. The Feso Shop merchant located in each town will be deleted. (For the Test Server, Feso Shop items can still be purchased from the NPC in Auch.)
- added Character Compendium. From the main menu's [Granado Information] - [Character Compendium] option, information on all characters and recruitable NPCs in Granado Espada can be viewed.
- user skins are removed to accomodate the new UI.

 

5. Added new features; improved existing features.

(i) new features added.
- added Dressing Room feature. From the main menu's [My Family Information] - [My Dressing Room] option, all costumes available to the selected character can be viewed.
- added Return to Town feature. Movement back to saved town location is possible by using the function from the System Menu (Alt+Q) or through the button at the bottom of the minimap.
- added Clock to show current server time. It can be found at the bottom of the minimap.
- added Show Name on Item Drop option. The corresponding option can be accessed from Game Options (Alt+O).
- added function for ESC key to call up the Exit Menu. The corresponding option can be accessed from Game Options (Alt+O).
- added Chat Balloon. The colour for the balloon can be specified from Game Options (Alt+O) and the button at the bottom of the chat window.

(ii) existing features improved.
- changed the NPC icons shown in the Zone Map (Alt+Z) to be clickable. Movement to the NPCs can be done easily by clicking on the icons.
- changed the NPC list on the right side of the Zone Map (Alt+Z) to highlight quest-related NPCs.
- when selling items to NPCs, the tooltip for items in the [Selected Item] tab will be displayed upon mouseover.
- changed the font colours of sent and received whisper messages.
- added maximise/minimise buttons to the 1:1 chat window. The colour of the title bar will change upon receipt of new messages.
- when in a faction, notice will be outputted to the faction chat window upon increase of family level and attainment of certain character levels (20, 40, 60, 80, 100).

 

6. Changed Pioneering Quest.
- improved the reward of Pioneering Quest as a whole.
- changed the content of pioneering quests required for each region significantly; adjusted the quests to fit the level ranges based on time required.
- for new families, certain quests must be completed before starting zone can be saved in the related area.
(Eg. starting zone can be saved in Coimbra upon completion of Lyndon's Shadow Dilos Latemn quest; starting zone can be saved in Auch upon completion of Nunez's Recommendation Letter quest.)

(i) Clearing the Quarry.
- monsters required for the hunt changed to monsters in Ferrucio Junction.

(ii) Prevent Sabotage of Ferrucio Statue.
- quest items acquired automatically upon reaching certain locations changed to quest items acquired by killing specific monsters that appears at those coordinates.

(iii) Illier-style Tofu.
- added quest item acquired by killing specific monsters.

(iv) Suppression of Phobitan Group.
- required number of level 3 Pioneer Seal changed to 2.
- level 3 Pioneer Seals can be obtained from Pioneer Memorial hunt quests in Tetra Great Ruins field.

(v) Suppression of Gavi di Light.
- existing required killcount of 100 changed to 70.

(vi) Screaming of Spirit.
- overturned boxes in Jaquin, Schvarlier changed to be useable once per family per hour.

 

7. Changed recruitment quests of various NPCs.
- for most quests that requires quest item, the drop rates for the quest items have been increased.
- for NPCs with free/cash recruitment options, the quest will be marked as completed whichever way is done first.

(i) Alejandro.
- changed minimum required level to start recruitment quest to 80.
- Escudo Pescher has been changed to appear in Old Port of Coimbra.

(ii) Irawan.
- changed minimum required level to start recruitment quest to 64.
- changed Irawan's recruitment quest to be totally cash-free.
- increased Irawan's base AGI stat by 5.

(iii) Soso.
- changed minimum required level to start recruitment quest to 70.
- changed the amount of Mystery Powder required for Soso's recruitment quest from existing 50 to 25.
- added Island of Fire Jack-o-Lantern monster hunt quest cash-free recruitment option.
- increased Soso's base STR stat by 5.

(iv) Baek Ho.
- changed minimum required level to start recruitment quest to 90.
- changed the amount of Mystery Powder required for Baek Ho's recruitment quest from existing 50 to 25.
- added Jaquin Corridor of Assize Dr. Fran Morsten monster hunt quest cash-free recruitment option.

(v) Angie.
- the various Return to Town Scrolls required for Angie's recruitment can be purchased with Vis from the Leonardo Expresso NPC.

(vi) Calyce.
- changed the amount of Mystery Powder required for Calyce's recruitment quest from existing 50 to 25.
- Calyce can also be recruited cash-free using 150 Shiny Crystals instead.

(vii) Rio.
- Rio can be recruited free with "Settler's Battle Sword" item of enhancement level +7 or above in inventory.

(viii) Eduardo/Kurt.
- changed the amount of Mystery Powder required for Eduardo/Kurt's recruitment quest from existing 70 to 35.
- Eduardo/Kurt can also be recruited cash-free using 250 Shiny Crystals instead.

 

8. Changed Pioneer Memorial hunt missions.
- reduced the level requirements as well as kill-count required for some Pioneer Memorial hunt missions.
- created additional hunt report locations for some Pioneer Memorials.

 

9. Changed the price of some items listed on the Feso Shop.

10. Changed the function of the Enchant Merchant NPC.
- when enchanting items, the item options can be viewed directly from the Item Options Window.
- Enchant Merchant NPC now sells enchantment chips from level 84 and below directly.

 

11. Integrated Wild Beast, Dinosaur, Plant, and Insect options into one single Living Thing racial type.
- for existing items with two types of options, the higher racial value will be changed to Living Thing instead.
(Eg. if there's 60% increase in damage to Wild Beast and 89% increase in damage to Dinosaur, then it will be changed to 89% increase in damage to Living Thing instead.)

 

12. Changed the SP consumption amount of some skills.
